ENOS onboard of M/Y SEA FRIEND

M/Y SEA FRIEND in the Red Sea with ENOS onboard

M/Y SEA FRIEND with ENOS onboard

After successful renovation of the boat ENOS-System is now installed

M/Y SEA FRIEND has many friends. No wonder, the liveaboard was refitted completely in spring 2018. Now the boat is almost 40 meters long, 8 meters width and has 12 spacious, stylish cabins with bathroom, WC and individual adjustable air-condition. The meals are served in a parlor with huge panorama windows providing an excellent view to the outside. The sun and shadow decks were extended where cozy armchairs and beanbags invite to chill. Additionally the diving platform was extended from where the divers are carried to Red Sea’s world famous reefs by two inflatable vessels.

Diving, the main thing, Safety in focus: ENOS onboard
Not just the ambience of M/Y SEA FRIEND is very comfortable but also diving, the most important fact on board. Guests can take their choice between 12 and 15 liters dive tanks, on request filled with Nitrox.

During trade show "InterDive" an ENOS_System was handed over to the owners Yousef Abd Elazim and his wife Nadine Schmitt.

Specialized on dive groups, schools and clubs
Since years they have focussed on diving schools and clubs who charter the complete boat. A perfect combination for many divers to spend vacation on the Red Sea while training and improving themselves by the trusted diving instructor.
Thanks to the implementation of ENOS-System onboard M/Y SEA FRIEND will become even more attractive because all trips cruise in the south of Egypt’s Red Sea; some of it in the "deep south". In general not so many dive boats operating here which enlarge the attraction of the dive spots on the one hand. On the other hand it reduces the chance to become found in case of going lost. However, ENOS makes sense everywhere, even at high frequented dive spots because the underwater world of "Brother Islands", "Daedalus" and "Elphinstone Reef" is so famous because of the currents.

Nadine and Yousef are straight in this topic: "It always can happen to become swept away by currents - to every diver, at almost all reefs and on all boats. Current is not a matter of experience, it's a matter of nature! The crucial issue is thus solely to take the right precautions to avoid such catastrophy. So it was clear to us to take ENOS to avoid such horror to our guests!"

A big advantage for all dive groups onboard of M/Y SEA FRIEND!
